oil paintings

Here's a self portrait...

The view outside the Student Center.

The assignment was "A glass bottle with four M&M's in front of a colored piece of paper."

Two of my favorite Ringling people playing with balloons!!

Okay, so this isn't oil... it's a digital painting I did at FEWS.

yay for good paintings! I would write some constructive critisism here, but honestly, I'm pretty tired of looking at these so much over the last couple months. Haha I'm sure you feel the same way. Good job though! I can definitly see your improvement in painting since august!

Hey Betsy,
very nice work as usual! I know these are done, but jsut a couple of comments, for next time :)
in the parking lot - eventhough all the elements are sitting on the same ground plane, it might be intersting to add some sort of blue haze to the elemnts, sitting furthur from the camera to give a feel of the atmospheric perspective...

It was really fun to see you doing the digital painting... maybe some hues of green and blue in the skin tone could work nice, like you did in the self portrait, which is my favorite! great job!
